MADISON, Wis -- The Madison 56ers Soccer Club has announced that Madison’s NPSL amateur soccer team competing in the National Premier Soccer League (NPSL) has finalized its coaching staff for the 2010 season.

Jim Launder will be returning for his sixth year as the Madison 56ers NPSL Head Coach. Jim has a USSF A Coaching License. With two NPSL Midwest Championships in 2006 and 2007, a second place finish in 2008 and a tie for the 2009 championship, Coach Launder is the most successful coach in the NPSL Midwest Region. This success is consistent with Coach Launder’s career history. As Head Coach for UW Madison he won the 1995 NCAA Soccer Championship. As Head Coach for the University of Dayton he won Atlantic 10 Championships in 1997 and 1998. His coaching career includes a Premier Development League (PDL) National Championship with the Chicago Sockers and a W-League (Women’s) National Championship with the Chicago Cobras; an A-League National Championship with the Milwaukee Rampage; and a National Open Cup Championship with the MLS Columbus Crew. A third Midwest Region Championship is the primary goal for the 2010 season, with the resultant third opportunity for the NPSL National Championship.

Coach Launder will be assisted for 2010 by Henry Aiyenero. Henry has been a player with the Madison 56ers NPSL team for the past two years and in 1993 was a member of the Canadian U21 National Team.

Henry has clearly demonstrated his leadership skills both on and off the field. Henry has a USSF B Coaching License and a National Youth Coaching License. He is a popular and successful youth coach with the Madison 56ers and was an assistant coach for three years at Luther College and is currently in his sixth year as an Assistant Coach with Madison Edgewood College.
