NPSL PLAYER OF THE WEEK: Five goals for Santa Clarita's Tyler Coombes

Santa Clarita Storm forward Tyler Coombes has been named the National Premier Soccer League Player of the Week for the week ending April 15 after scoring five goals in a 9-1 win over the Phoenix Monsoon on Saturday.
Phoenix took a quick lead when Cesar Meyica slipped past the Storm defense and goalkeeper Steven Rodriguez to score.
The Storm responded quickly, coming back to tie the game just three minutes later when Stephen Martines set up Coombes for his first goal.
Coombes added goals in the 23rd, 43rd, 53rd and 57th minutes.
Martines finished the game with a goal and two assists, while Andres Bueno scored two goals and Robbie Gouk had two assists.
HONOR ROLL: Sacramento Gold's Jason Jones scored four goals and assisted on two others in a 9-0 win over the San Francisco Stompers….Real San Jose's Greiven Pacheco scored in the 67th minute to clinch a 1-0 win over North Coast Tsunami on April 14….Fullerton Rangers forward David Arvizu scored a goal and assisted on another in a 2-0 win over FC Hassental on Sunday…Midfielder Nick Lombardi scored in the 86th minute to bring the Sonoma Sol back for the second time in a 2-2 tie with Bay Area on Saturday…North Coast Tsunami goalkeeper Sergio Gerro made seven first half saves before finally allowing a goal in the 67th minute in a 1-0 loss to Real San Jose….
